1st 2 loads of stuff given out, but it feels like a drop in the ocean. 1000 pounds worth of stuff went out in minutes, we made up 100 family packs of food and other bits and pieces. Heading back to Colombo to load up then gonna head east. Hopefully the presence of a couple of sudas [white people] in the convoy will prevent us being hijacked. Arosia and Samantha [their friends in the south] amazingly ok but Samatha's place took a huge whack. Saw 3 more bodies this morning. All black and bloated with the heat. Yuk! Gonna try and get jabs today. |
