Inki Completes her UK Swimming Course

Sri Lankan undergraduate, Inki Surangi, has just completed her British Amateur Swimming Association Level One Swimming Teacher Course at the Arthur Hill Swimming Pool in Reading, England. Inki has been in England gaining teaching experience before returning to Sri Lanka to continue her work teaching swimming in between her university studies.

Says Inki, “It’s a great relief to have completed the course. I am looking forward to returning home, seeing my family again and starting teaching the women of Weligama to swim.”

Inki has another two weeks in the UK and will be back in Sri Lanka on 3 September.
